Growing up surrounded by the desolate beauty of the Yorkshire landscape Bryony has developed her work to explore the romanticised nostalgia and uncanny brutality landscapes can evoke. Her work explores the lore of the land and photographic storytelling through language and process, often referencing nostalgia towards photographic practice itself. Experimental processes and innovative mixed media are often integral to her work producing eerie visual effects.
Bryony also works within arts education as founder of In a Land running photography and creative workshops for all ages.
