ABOUT
I have worked in arts education for nearly a decade now as a workshop leader and university lecturer and have gathered experience across a number of educational institutions. I have studied different approaches to creativity and learned that we all tend to produce our most meaningful work when we are in a supportive community environment that embraces different approaches to creativity.
I wanted to create a space in which artists and writers can grow and learn together without judgement or limiting labels. In a Land is an organisation that develops workshops that explore visual language, storytelling and creative courage no matter what your medium. Our aim is to create a unique creative community that focuses on the joy of creativity and exploring different forms of inspiration.
I run workshops in person and online nation wide. I will promote upcoming workshops here and to stay up to date please subscribe to our mailing list.
If you are interested in commissioning a 1-2-1 workshop or series of workshops, we work on a bespoke basis working to any brief to create an educational, creative and above all fun learning experience.
Any questions or for more information on any course or workshop contact me on inaland@bryonygood.com.
"I have attended a couple of Bryony’s workshops and hope to attend many more. The array of creative activities and the familiar atmosphere make them an unmissable experience. Bryony is a passionate facilitator and her knowledge and attitude makes the workshops not only stimulating but also great fun!"

UNCANNY
Uncanny Writing Workshop
At the time of year when the veil is most thin, we explored The Uncanny and how we create this illusive feeling within our writing. This workshop gave a literary introduction to the origins and elements of The Uncanny as a theoretical and literary tool in writing, providing extracts and discussion points for the group. Together we completed a range of writing exercises that gave the group an opportunity to play with and create their own ‘uncanny’ vignettes using different thematic options. We looked at a range of examples of The Uncanny taken from literature and pop culture and investigate the weird, eerie, and uncanny and how it effects our readers.
